Today November 16th, 2006
This morning we opened a letter from friends who have been supporting us it contained a $50 check. We weren't surprised because they have been sending us a monthly check. We quickly made up a grocery list keeping the list short and just the basic necessities. Our first errand was the post office where we had to pay $15 duty on a package that had arrived. Next stop to Hanover Missionary Church, where we owed money for some Awana books. When we arrived, they said we didn't have to pay anything; they said don't worry about it! Next on to the grocery store. I was praising the Lord for this small blessing, yet I knew the remaining $35 doesn't go very far in the Canadian stores. When we parked our car we again went over our list and prioritized it trying to make the most of our $35.
This gets exciting! While we were trying to figure out what cheese brick was the best deal per kilogram, a lady came up to Ace and said "I want you to have this, please take this." She put some money in Ace’s hands and quickly walked away. Ace and I can't remember if we said Thank You because we were in such shock. I was choked up and all I could think "is she an Angel?" After regaining our composure we looked at what she placed in Ace’s hand and it was a $50 dollar bill. WOW! God is good! Ace says his faith meter is pegged!
A Very Blessed Glidewell Family!
