10KG bag of Flour

The Setting:
Our cash reserves had dwindled to a Looney or two, but we knew God would bless us soon. Sure enough, the next time we checked our mailbox, there were three checks waiting for us!

In class, we were split into teems and assigned to discuss team co-operation. Being hospitable people we invited our team over to our place to work out the assignment, and offered a scrambled egg and toast breakfast.
The Problem:
The afternoon before the breakfast meeting, with checks in hand, and great intentions, we left for the bank to cash the checks and buy needed groceries. To our shock and disappointment, the bank closed at 4pm. (This is still worthy of a whole other post: Open at 10, two hour lunch, half hour coffee break, close at 4, c'mon, does this job come with benefits?)
The Attitude:
We were mad.
Then we were surprised God had let us down.
Then we recovered somewhat, and found various leftovers in the fridge. Even though every Glidewell family member had a different meal on their plate, we all ate well. We eventually acknowledged God had blessed us, and were thankful for what we had to eat.
We had eggs, but still no toast for breakfast, we were out of flower!
The Miracle:
Then there was a knock at the door, and found a HUGE bag of flour on our doorstep! Not a new computer, not more eggs, not carolers, but a big bag of flour! So we made bread that night, and had toast for our friends in the morning! Praise God for His faithfulness, even when we are not faithful!
